Imperial started life distributing various carrier bags to local businesses and was known as Imperial Sacks and Bags. Today, it is known for its broad range of world food products and packaging materials sourced from around the globe and distributed to various sectors of the food industry including takeaways and restaurants as well as retailers and wholesalers in the UK.
